On September 12th, 40 AE staffs made a happy tour to Guapi Island for 2 days.
It was a good opportunity for AE people to have a fully engaged vacation and joyful team training. By everybody attending the games, an expected spirit of communicating and team-working was developed among each heart. The primary target of this travel to make AE a big family was successfully achieved.
The whole tour consists of two stages:
Firstly, planning and preparation stage.1. Following the main instructions of AE leaders, the Planning department made a complete proposal for the whole vocation. They carefully discussed with several departments and individuals about the theme, travelling conditions and whole flow. After discussion, an organizing committee was formed while the ideas and thoughts were united. The proposal was then submitted to AE vice manager and general manager before execution.
2. In order to fully satisfy everybody in this vocaton, the organizing committee held a meeting, focusing on the route, safety cautions and activities in details. The decisions and cautions made on the meeting were then completely conveyed to each committee member and all the departments.
Secondly, the exciting tour
The whole tour was full of laughs and joyfulness. With AE’s flag fluttering in the sea wind, everybody was touched by the compere’s high enthusiasm. The leisure harmony and cheerful friendship deeply impressed each young heart. There appeared several climaxes: Climax 1: “Treasure hunting”
The compere and his assistant firstly lined out the effective area, then they hid the “treasure”(vouchers with money amount) to the places at will. After the compere showed everybody the searching orientation and area, the whole rank fanned out for those surprises. 5yuan and 10yuan were continuously found. To further improve everyone’s passion, Vice manager Ye separately hid two pieces of 100 RMB to the places where we had searched. 100 RMB was so attractive that each “treasure hunter” was greatly encouraged. The heavy “treasures” were finally found by two lucky dogs, an R&D engineer and a cleaner aunt.
Climax 2: Tug-of-war
All the staffs were divided into four teams, A, B, C, D. Each two teams began the competition first (A&B, C&D). In this round, the one who defeated the opponent twice was the winner. If a draw happened, they had to play off the tie until one of them won twice continuously. After this round, there would be two initial winners. Then the two compete for the champion. The team Hearts, led by Vice Manager Ye, won the champion at last. Despite the fixed bonus, Mr. Ye took out another 100 RMB as reward. The team Club, represented by Vice Manager Wang, won the second. Mr. Wang also took 200 RMB for his team as bonus.
 
Climax 3: 3-legged race
Two people made a team at will. Each team only got one chance to attend. The requirement was that the belt must neither higher than the knee nor lower than the ankle. Other rules followed normal race. The number of rounds depended on the applied team number. For each round, only the first two teams could enter the final race. The whole race measured about 15 meters. At last, three teams won the first three separately. Despite the original bonus, Mr. Ye gave another 100 RMB to the champion as encouragement.
 
Climax 4: Happy dinner
We lived in Quanxi Vocation Village on the island, where our unforgettable dinner took place. As well planned, Bonfire party, Find your team, Super guesses and Super Karaoke competition took one by one, leading to the most exciting climax of the whole vocation. Especially for the Karaoke competition, Mr. Wang supplied 300 RMB and Mr. Ye contributed 200 RMB as encouraging fund. Finally, five singers shared them.
Roast lamb, sweet beer and rich bonus, these made it doomed an amazing night. Team, partners, goal and cooperation, feeling again the true meaning of these words, we won the precious “Olympic medals” of ourselves, that is: to work with passion and to live with joyfulness. We are looking forward to the next happy story!
