The fourth China-US Energy Policy Dialogue was held in East China's coastal city of Qingdao on Friday.

The vice-director of the National Development & Reform Commission, Zhang Guobao, said China and the United States have great potential for energy cooperation.

The outcome is likely to promote trade cooperation and lead to a new shining point in the two countries' relationship.
